My opinion of Windows 7

Postby CP-Cheater » Sat Dec 19, 2009 6:02 pm

To me Windows 7 is just like vista, but it seems to me they're the same, but with a different name, to me I would stay at vista, if you're upgrading, you may risk getting your things deleted, everything, so I wouldn't use it only if it comes with your computer, if you agree, help me on facebook, my user is Cp haxor, and if you want, add me as a friend.

Personally, Winblows sucks period. Vista sucks moar than everything, though. I have to use Winblows 7 because I destroyed my Ubuntu, and until I can get that fix'd, I gotta use Winblows 7. If I were to compare Winblows 7 and Vista, which really isn't my place to say, as they both suck balls to me: Winblows 7 > Winblows Vista

I've used Ubuntu since April '09, but because it locked me out for the 3rd time in a row, I decided to stick with Windows until I'm able to get my Mac. I couldn't deal with an unstable OS. I'm looking into Debian, but for the time being, I will be upgrading Vista to 7. I don't mind Windows, it's kind of nice to be using it again after Ubuntu had so many issues. It was a nice 9 months, but I'm back to old reliable.

As in doing a file system check, finding an inconsistency, and me not being able to fix it without fresh installing.

What you should do is set it up with
/boot as an EXT2 filesystem(1GB)
Swap as swap, look up how large to make it.
And / as ReiserFS

Old reliable? Has the definition of "reliable" changed in the time I haven't checked? Winblows crashes every day, no matter when you do. I opened up GIMP this morning, the fucking thing decided to "not respond" then winblows decided, "Hey, I think I'll just shut off because this program won't respond, kthx bai". <-- THAT is not reliable. I can't wait 'til I fix my freaking Ubuntu.

Windows never crashes for me, ever. Maybe twice in the 8 years I've used it.
